As the festive season approaches, we’re reminded of the incredible resilience and hope that so many children and young people hold onto, even when faced with overwhelming challenges. Every day, our Kids Helpline counsellors are inspired by young people’s determination to find a way through, despite the difficulties life throws their way. Whether it’s dealing with loneliness, struggling with mental health, or navigating family stress, many still show remarkable trust, faith, and belief in a brighter future.

However, while “hope and joy” are words often associated with Christmas, they don’t always come easily. For many, the holiday season brings emotional strain, but thanks to your generosity, Kids Helpline is able to offer a critical safety net that young people can rely on, even when they feel most alone.

By purchasing tickets in our Christmas Prize Home Art Union, you’re helping ensure we can continue to be there when hope and joy feel distant. The demand for our services is especially high during the holidays, and with 70% of all contacts happening outside of standard business hours, your support ensures that young people always have someone to turn to – no matter the time of day or the day of the year.

Every ticket you buy brings us closer to answering more calls, offering guidance, and helping young people feel less alone during what can be a difficult time.

This Christmas, your generosity is not just a chance to win a dream home – it’s a way to give young people the hope they need to face life’s challenges. Together, we can ensure more children and young people feel heard, supported, and cared for. Thank you for making such an important difference.

Wishing you a joyful and peaceful holiday season, and for those celebrating, a very Merry Christmas.
